NASCAR Nationwide driver Danny Efland earned his engineering degree on Monday from the University of South Carolina. Now Ryan Newman is not the only engineer/driver in NASCAR! "It has been a real challenge," said Danny, "I have raced an average of 10 times a year and still attended school full time. At times I have had to fly home between races such as happened between California and Las Vegas last year, to attend 3 days of class while the team stayed out west. Over a month ago, Danny Efland piloted the #39 Go Green Racing Ford Mustang to a 19th place finish at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. This weekend, Danny will get back behind the wheel of that car at the Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, TN. C3i Sports and Americans Honoring Americans will be on board the car once again. After four races in the Go Green Racing Ford Mustang at Darlington, Dover, Charlotte and Michigan, Danny Efland will climb back behind the wheel of the family owned Danny Efland Racing #07 at Daytona International Speedway this weekend. After a career best run at Darlington last week, the Go Green Racing team and Danny Efland found themselves at the "Monster Mile" Dover International Speedway this week. After qualifying was rained out, the team started 26th based on practices speeds. After running out of fuel with a handful of laps left, Danny came home 23rd. Click Here to read the full release |

Danny Efland brought the #39 C3i Sports Ford Mustang for Go Green Racing home to a career best finish of 16th at the Darlington Raceway this past Friday. Danny Efland and Go Green Racing have announced that Danny will pilot the #39 Ford Mustang in the Royal Purple 200 at Darlington Raceway on May 7th. This will be the second race of the 2011 season for Danny and the first time he has run with Go Green Racing. Click Here to read the full release |

Danny Efland and Jimmy Means Racing will be combining efforts this weekend at the Talladega SuperSpeedway in Alabama. This will be Danny's first race of 2011 and the first time both teams have worked together.
